Issue 24

Bring your game to Chinese, Japanese and Korean players

Every week AsiaIndie tracks what Asian players play on Steam and which languages they review in. We use the same data to help developers decide which languages to add — and deliver store pages in Chinese, Japanese and Korean, ready to paste in.

How it works

  1. Check your Asia language gap with the free tool
  2. Book: send us your game and the languages you want
  3. Receive the translation, back-translation and QA report, then paste into Steamworks
  4. Once live, AsiaIndie features the new languages in its "now in Chinese/Japanese" column (labelled PR)

About AI

Translations are produced by AI (Anthropic's Claude) and then checked twice automatically: an independent review with back-translation, and programmatic checks for formatting, length and Steam's official terms. Valve's January 2026 content survey covers store page copy and localization in its AI disclosure; we include disclosure wording with every delivery for you to fill in yourself.
